When a roll has advantage or disadvantage, a number is assigned to it by the referee to represent how much of an advantage or disadvantage the roll has. This is written as Adv+(number) for Advantage or Dis+(number) for Disadvantage. Advantage and Disadvantage Cancel out one other; meaning a roll with a condition that provides Adv+2 and a condition that causes Dis+1 will have Adv+1 when rolled.

Rolling with Advantage: The amount of Advantage in additional dice are rolled when the roll is made. The same number of dice are removed from the roll when calculating the roll result, starting with dice with the lowest values. For example: Adv+2 to a 1D6 roll means roll 3D6 but drop the 2 dice with the lowest result.

Rolling with Disadvantage: Similar to Advantage, the amount of Disadvantage in additional dice are rolled when the roll is made. The same number of dice are removed from the roll when calculating the roll result, starting with the die with the highest values. For example: Dis+3 to a 2D6 roll means roll 5D6 but drop the 3 dice with the highest result.
